Downtown Whiskey Stroll

Downtown Egg Hunt
Children and their families are invited to take part in a Downtown Egg Hunt on the Saturday preceding Easter. Over 25 businesses participate by providing free treats and family activities.
Downtown Alameda Spring Festival

Alameda Fourth of July Parade
The Alameda 4th of July Parade is one of the largest Independence Day parades in the nation. The best viewing spots can be found on Park Street at the beginning of the parade.
Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire
Voted “Best Event in Alameda” by Alameda Magazine readers, the Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire is Alameda's biggest annual street fair. This popular event takes place the last weekend in July.
Downtown Alameda Classic Car Show
The Downtown Alameda Classic Car Show brings over 400 classic vehicles to Alameda’s historic Park Street district. The one-day event takes place on the second Saturday in October.
Downtown Alameda merchants are delighted to provide a safe place to trick-or-treat on Halloween day. Kids in costume can collect sweet treats from participating businesses.
Eat, Shop & Be Merry in Downtown Alameda
From Shop Late Thursdays to our popular Hot Cocoa Crawl, downtown merchants have plenty to offer for a festive holiday shopping experience. Also look for Santa to be out and about in the downtown district. To make shopping downtown easier, the parking meters are FREE every weekend.
Shop Local: Small Business Saturday
Show support for local businesses and your community by shopping and dining locally on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Businesses throughout the district get into the spirit of Small Business Saturday with special offers, free treats, and other activities.
Mayor's Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration
Enjoy performances from community groups and special guests followed by the tree lighting ceremony. Activities take place in front of City Hall.
