Join us for an opportunity to meet the artist and learn about his creative process. Steven Chabre is a local East Bay area artist who works with oil, paper and recently completed his first short stop-motion animation film, which will be projected during the talk.

Mayor's Fourth of July Parade
The Alameda Mayor’s 4th of July Parade is one of the largest Independence Day parades in the nation. The best viewing spots can be found on Park Street near the judges' stand.

Downtown Alameda's Art & Wine Faire
Downtown Alameda's Art & Wine Faire is Alameda's biggest annual event. The street festival takes place every year during the last weekend of July.

Customer Celebration Day

Downtown Alameda's Classic Car Show
Downtown Alameda's Classic Car Show brings over 400 classic vehicles to Alameda’s historic Park Street district. The one-day event usually takes place  on the second Saturday in October.

Mayor's Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration

Enjoy performances from community groups and special guests followed by the tree lighting ceremony. Activities take place in front of City Hall the first Saturday in December.
