Enjoy the summer sun at one of Alameda’s biggest and best events! The 33rd Annual Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire offers over 250 art & craft vendors, festival foods, local craft beer and wine; live music on three stages; and a special kids’ area. Festival-goers will enjoy a stroll along Alameda’s historic commercial district where unique shops and restaurants will also be offering event specials throughout the weekend.   The 33rd Annual Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire is fun for everyone and it's free to attend. Hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm both days.

Design your own unique bracelet using leather straps. Learn to rivet, and make eyelets in any of the flat straps. Learn to stamp leather!
  What you will learn: Riveting leather, cork, or other flat staps. Inserting eyelets on leather, cork, or other flat staps Leather Stamping Prerequisite: None Materials: Students will need to purchase the following (not included in the class fee) prior to class: Choice of leather material (pre-cut strap or flat leather cut to order) Leather Embellishments (Rivets, Eyelets, other embellishments such as leather flowers, etc.) Leather clasp (make sure that the clasp you choose will work with the leather you have selected.) All materials are available at Bead Inspirations. We recommend that you come to the shop in advance of class to select your materials. Optionally – you can come to the shop 30 minutes prior to the start of class and we will assist you in choosing your materials. Please have your materials ready when class starts. Location: Classes are held at our store, 1544 Park Street, Alameda, CA 94501. Discount: Students will receive a 10% discount on in-store merchandise for 4 weeks prior to and 2 weeks after the class. Downtown Alameda Spring Festival - Arts, Crafts, & Wine
The Downtown Alameda Spring Festival is a Mother's Day tradition in the San Francisco Bay Area. The popular event takes place on Park Street every year during the second weekend in May.

Mayor's Fourth of July Parade
The Alameda Mayor’s 4th of July Parade is one of the largest Independence Day parades in the nation. The best viewing spots can be found on Park Street near the judges' stand.

Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire
The Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire is Alameda's biggest annual event. The street festival takes place every year during the last weekend of July.

Customer Celebration Day
Over 50 businesses join together to provide free giveaways, treats, and a day of fun in Alameda's vibrant shopping and entertainment district. 

Downtown Alameda Classic Car Show
The Downtown Alameda Classic Car Show brings over 400 classic vehicles to Alameda’s historic Park Street district. The one-day event usually takes place  on the second Saturday in October.

Mayor's Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration

Enjoy performances from community groups and special guests followed by the tree lighting ceremony. Activities take place in front of City Hall the first Saturday in December.
