The Downtown Alameda Spring Festival is a Mother's Day tradition in the San Francisco Bay Area. The popular event takes place on Park Street every year during the second weekend in May. The next Spring Festival is May 13 & 14, 2017.

Downtown Alameda's Spring Festival

Bring your mom and the whole family to Alameda’s celebration of spring during Mother’s Day weekend.
Take a stroll through Downtown Alameda's Historic Park Street District and check out the terrific variety of food and beverages, arts and crafts booths, live music, as well as a play area for kids.

Secure valet bicycle parking is available at 1522 Park Street (Alameda Bicycle).

The Downtown Alameda Spring Festival is located on historic Park Street, 
between Encinal Ave and Lincoln Ave.

Downtown Alameda's Spring Festival
May 13 & 14, 2017

The annual Downtown Alameda Spring Festival is a Mother’s Day weekend tradition the San Francisco Bay Area. With over 150 vendors and more than 50 unique shops, this is a perfect place to find a gift for Mom. Or maybe you would like to bring Mom for a mimosa and lunch at one of the district’s savory food establishments.

The free street fair offers fun for everyone in Downtown Alameda! People enjoy coming out for the music, food, kids' area, beer and wine sales, and the terrific selection of gifts for Mom. Located on Alameda's historic Park Street, event hours are 10:00am to 6:00pm both days.

Don’t miss the Downtown Alameda Spring Festival!

Arts & Crafts... Stroll among 150 arts and craft booths with items ranging from ceramics and metal art to paintings, photography, wood crafts, toys, handbags, clothing, jewelry, and more.

Live Entertainment... Each day offers continuous live entertainment on two stages with talented musicians performing everything from bluegrass to classic rock, and from funk to fusion jazz: 2017 Bands.

Kids’ Area... A special area for kids and their families on Alameda Avenue features bounce houses, slot cars, face painting, and a climbing wall. Back again this year… WaterBallerz! Kids and adults alike will also have fun watching puppet shows and listening to musical performances.

Festival Food & Drink... Satisfy your taste buds with a great selection of festival favorites such as Lockeford Sausage, corndogs, fried calamari, teriyaki chicken, beef skewers, funnel cakes, and more! Premium vinegars and gourmet fudge will also be available for purchase. For the over-21 crowd... Quench your thirst at one of the three booths serving craft beers by Alameda Island Brewing Co., regional wines by Rock Wall Wine Company, and bubbly mimosas.

Discover Downtown Alameda... Downtown Alameda offers a variety of the best restaurants and shops. Stroll through the historic Park Street district to look for businesses offering free raffles, give-aways, and weekend specials during the Spring Festival.

Free, secure bike parking will be available near Park Street. There couldn't be a better way to experience the festival than after a pleasant ride along the charming streets of Alameda.
