Alameda’s 4th of July Parade

Don’t miss the best hometown celebration! Alameda’s 4th of July Parade is the longest in the nation with a route that spans 3.3 miles, attracting more than 170 entries and 2,500 participants. The Parade draws over 60,000 spectators from the region and entries include a full spectrum of Bay Area residents, including equestrians, dance troops, floats, antique cars, community groups, transported and marching bands from both the community and local schools, and more!

The parade starts at 10:00am at the corner of Park Street and Lincoln Avenue. Some of the best viewing spots are along Park Street where the performances, cheering, and flag waving are especially exciting along the first stretch of the parade.
