Día de los Niños (Day of the Children)

Join the Alameda Free Library on Saturday, May 21st for Día de los Niños! The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Families will have the opportunity to watch a Spanish/English bilingual magic show performed by Germar the Magician at 1:00 p.m., piñata crafting at 2:00 p.m., and at 3:00 p.m. fresh churros will be available from Churros Mexicanos in the parking lot.

This free program is made possible through sponsorship from First 5 of Alameda County and the generosity of the Friends of the Alameda Free Library. Seating is first come, first served, and a full room is expected.
