This International Women’s Day, celebrate the amazing women in your lives, granny style! Dress up as your favorite granny—think oversized glasses, floral prints, pearls, and shawls— for the first annual Alameda GrannyCon, a fun fundraiser for breast cancer prevention.
Enjoy a bingo-style scavenger hunt down Park Street with many participating local businesses, culminating in an afterparty featuring a costume contest, raffle, drinks, snacks, prizes, and more. 100% of proceeds support Breast Cancer Prevention Partners, whose work focuses on preventing the onset of cancer – because every woman deserves to live long enough to become a granny. 💖👵
