Downtown Alameda Spring Market

Bring the family to our inaugural Spring Market, an outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment experience adjacent to the Park Street corridor. The Spring Market will feature curated vendors & purveyors with goods and foods for sale, interactive community booths, live music, spring vibes and tasty beverages for everyone’s enjoyment.

Join us on Saturday, May 4th from 12pm-5pm.

2024 Special Events

Spring Market

Bring the family to our Spring Market, an outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment experience adjacent to the Park Street corridor. The Spring Market will feature curated vendors & purveyors with goods and foods for sale, interactive community booths, live music, spring vibes and tasty beverages for everyone’s enjoyment. This year's inaugural Spring Market will take place on Saturday, May 4, 2024.

Rock & Roll Beer Stroll

Sip and stroll your way through our historic downtown district tasting local beer selections paired with yummy bites at unique pouring locations. Enjoy an afternoon filled with food, drink, and live music while learning about the unique styles of Northern California breweries and local chefs. Date TBA. 

Fourth of July Parade

The Alameda 4th of July Parade is one of the largest Independence Day parades in the nation. The best viewing spots can be found on Park Street along the first stretch of the parade. This year's parade will take place on Thursday, July 4. Organized by ARPD. 

Art & Wine Faire

Enjoy the summer sun and island breeze at Alameda's biggest free street event of the year, featuring over 200 arts, crafts and food vendors; local beer and wine; continuous live music on three stages; and two kids' areas. The event will take place July 27 and July 28 from 10am-6pm.

Autumn Wine Stroll

Sip and stroll your way through our historic downtown district tasting local wine selections paired with yummy bites at unique pouring locations. Date TBA.

Pride in the Park

A family-friendly event celebrating LGBTQIA communities with performances, music, and food at Chochenyo Park. Co-sponsored with ARPD. Date TBA.

Small Business Saturday

Show support for local businesses and your community by shopping and dining locally. Skip the malls and set aside online shopping on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. This year's date is Saturday, November 30, 2023.

Winter Market

Celebrate the season with sparkle & fun! The Downtown Alameda Winter Market will welcome local vendors, entertainment, festive sips and delicious bites. Date TBA.

Hot Cocoa Stroll

A variety of businesses will offer a warm welcome and a delectable assortment of sips & nibbles. Join Santa as he strolls to sweet & treat locations throughout the district! Take your time while visiting the shops, restaurants, and other fabulous services located in Alameda’s downtown district.

Alameda Restaurant Week

Alameda Restaurant Week is a 10-day event celebrating the culinary delights of our island city. Enjoy Alameda’s dining scene by visiting your choice of over 30 participating restaurants and bars. Many of the restaurants are offering prix fixe menus and special dishes. This year's Alameda Restaurant Week took place from March 1-March 10, 2024.

Whiskey Stroll

Sip and stroll your way through the downtown district tasting premium craft whiskeys paired with yummy bites at 12+ unique businesses. Learn about top California distillers and local chefs as they showcase their unique flavors. This year’s event took place on Friday, March 22, 2024.
