The Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire is one of Alameda's biggest FREE events.

The annual street festival takes place on the last weekend of July. This year's Art & Wine Faire happens on July 28 & 29, 2018.

Take a stroll through our downtown district during this popular event and check out the variety of arts and crafts booths, food and beverage vendors, live music, as well as a special kids' zone.

Come to see what's new at the fair and stay to enjoy some of your favorite restaurants and shops in the downtown district.

The Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire is located on Park Street, between Encinal Ave and Buena Vista Ave.

Downtown Alameda 33rd Annual Art & Wine Faire
July 28-29, 2018

Enjoy the summer sun at one of the biggest and best events of the year! The Downtown Alameda 34th Annual Art & Wine Faire features over 300 arts, crafts, and food vendors; local wines and regional beers; live music on two stages; and a special kids’ area. This year’s street fair will be held the weekend of July 28 and July 29. Hours run from 10:00am to 6:00pm both days.

Voted “Best Event in Alameda” by Alameda Magazine readers, there is sure to be something for the entire family. Festival-goers can also enjoy a stroll along Alameda’s vibrant and historic commercial district where unique shops and restaurants will be offering event specials throughout the weekend.

The Downtown Alameda Art & Wine Faire is fun for everyone!

Arts & Crafts… Stroll among the 250 arts and craft booths with items ranging from ceramics and metal art to paintings, photography, wood crafts, toys, handbags, clothing, jewelry, and more.

Live Entertainment… Each day offers continuous live entertainment on three stages as Bay Area favorites perform classic rock, bluegrass, funk, jazz, and soul. Featured performances include some of the Bay Area's best tribute bands. There's also a Salsa Stage at the corner of Park Street & Webb Ave!

Kids’ Area and Carnival Rides… A special area for kids and their families has been created on Alameda Ave with bounce houses, games, face painting, and that wacky attraction… Waterballerz! Kids will also thrill at the carnival rides set up on Park Street, from Classic Teacup Spinners to Frog Hoppers.

Food & Drink… Satisfy your taste buds with a festive selection of street favorites such as Lockeford Sausage, corndogs, gyros, roasted corn, fried calamari, funnel cakes, and more! For the 21+ crowd, there will be multiple beverage booths serving craft beers by Alameda Island Brewing Co., regional wines, and refreshing mimosas.

Ride Your Bike to the Festival… Free, secure bike parking will be provided at a new LARGER location across the street from Alameda Bicycle at Vietnam House. There couldn't be a better way to experience the festival than after a pleasant ride along the charming streets of Alameda.

Shop Downtown Alameda!… Downtown Alameda's Park Street Business District is “historic, hip, and worth the trip.” More than 400 businesses are located in Alameda's downtown commercial district. You'll find a unique variety of fabulous food and drink establishments, charming shops, friendly services, and fun things to do. Many of the businesses will even be offering weekend specials during the event.
