Don’t miss the chance to taste premium whiskeys and learn about top NorCal distillers as they showcase their unique brands at our first-ever Whiskey Stroll on Friday, March 2.
Ticket holders will stroll our historic downtown district tasting handcrafted small-batch whiskeys served neat and paired with yummy bites at ten unique pouring locations. Complete the evening by visiting downtown restaurants and businesses offering “After-Stroll” specials and discounts.
Proceeds from ticket sales benefit programs that help keep Downtown Alameda clean, green, and safe.
Tickets are currently on sale for only $40. The price increases to $50 after February 23 and will be available at the door (if not already sold out).
A limited number of Designated Driver tickets will be available the day of the event and includes collector’s glass, bites at all pouring stations, and commemorative guide.
ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE 21 AND OVER WITH VALID ID.
Pouring Hosts / Locations
Each of our pouring location venues will be prepared for your arrival. Maybe you have been to a few of these local businesses already, and maybe not; either way, the Whiskey Stroll is a great way to visit new places in the district. All venues are within walking distance of one another.
Please note: One location (Autobody Fine Art) has two flights of stairs with limited accessibility due to historic nature of the building.

What do I get with my $40 ticket?
Ticket/wristband includes a collector’s whiskey glass, premium whiskey tastings at ten unique Downtown Alameda businesses, small food bites at each pouring location, and a commemorative guide. Your ticket/wristband also gets you special discounts at participating after-stroll bars and restaurants.
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Ticket sales are limited to a total of 400. If the event sells out in advance, there will be no tickets available at the door.
Where do I start?
All ticket holders must check-in at the Eagles Hall (2305 Alameda Ave) to receive a tasting glass and map. After that, you are welcome to create your own route for visiting the ten pouring locations.
What if I can’t make it to check-in by 7:00pm?
Check-in closes at 7:00pm SHARP. If you haven’t picked up your pass by then, you will forfeit it. Please plan accordingly.
What's the refund policy?
This is a fundraiser. All sales are final.
Can my friend pick up my pass for me?
No. All passes must be picked up by each participant, individually. You must have a valid, government-issued ID. All participants must be 21 or over.
What are my parking options for the event?
The Civic Center Parking Structure is located at 1416 Oak Street, within easy walking distance of our check-in location. Parking in the garage and at street meters is free after 5:00pm.
What are recommended public transportation options?
Ride-share options like taxis, Uber and Lyft are terrific resources. Downtown Alameda is also accessible via AC Transit with frequent connections to Fruitvale BART.
Are there any Designated Driver tickets available?
The Downtown Alameda Business Association encourages everyone to enjoy downtown responsibly. To support this effort we will be selling a limited number of designated driver tickets for $10 on the night of the Whiskey Stroll at our check-in location at Eagles Hall, 2305 Alameda Ave.
Where can I buy a bottle of my favorite selection from the Whiskey Stroll?
CRAFT Beer & Wine will be open until 9:00pm the night of the stroll for bottle sales. They are conveniently located at 2526 Santa Clara Avenue, along the Whiskey Stroll in Downtown Alameda.
