Sip, Savor, Discover: 8th Annual Whiskey Stroll

It’s back! Sip and stroll your way through our historic downtown district tasting premium small-batch whiskeys during the 8th Annual Downtown Alameda Whiskey Stroll. Enjoy an evening filled with craft spirits and entertainment while learning about the unique styles from the distillers. The popular event returns on Friday, March 27, 6:00-9:00pm.

The Alameda Strolls are a great way to discover new places and support local businesses. Ticket holders will visit 12+ unique downtown shops and spaces to taste small-batch whiskeys from a fantastic selection of California distilleries. And while at select stops, guests will enjoy a savory or sweet bite perfectly paired with the whiskey. 

Ticket prices include a collectible tasting glass, whiskey tastings at more than twelve unique downtown businesses, a delicious bite at select host locations prepared by a downtown eatery, and a commemorative guide to enhance your experience.

Tickets are on sale now! Ticket prices are $65 and increase to $75 the week of the event (if not already sold out). A limited number of Designated Driver tickets are also available. Take note, the Downtown Alameda Whiskey Strolls have sold out every year. All participants must be 21 and over.

Elevate your experience with the Whiskey Stroll VIP Experience!

​Limited to 50 attendees, this exclusive session explores Alameda’s unique whiskey legacy. Discover the vital role of Admiral Maltings in the distilling process with Ron Silberstein and taste spirits crafted with their malt. Gain insight into whiskey-making artistry while sampling unique selections from their distiller partners Justin McCabe with 117° West Spirits and Samantha Blatteis with Home Base Spirits.As an added treat, you’ll experience a very special and exclusive collaboration between Admiral Maltings, Home Base Spirits and Craft Beer & Wine. Join us for this intimate, informative and flavorful start to your evening!

After the VIP session, join the Whiskey Stroll from 6:00-9:00pm to explore Downtown Alameda and savor exceptional whiskeys from local craft distillers.

  • Award-winning distillery 117° West Spirits, founded in North Country San Diego, is proud to use 100% California-grown ingredients to produce exceptional whiskey, gin, rum, and agave spirits. -including malt from Alameda’s Admiral Maltings.

This is a fundraising event. Ticket purchases support programs that will keep Downtown Alameda “Clean, Green, and Safe” for all to enjoy. Additionally, $1 from each ticket sold will directly support the Alameda Food Bank and their vital work in the community.
