Studio 23 invites you to see over 30 local Alameda and Bay Area artists creating unique artwork during the Alameda Summer Art Fair & Maker Market in the downtown district. Enjoy live music, open studios, art cars, kids creative area, and other festivities all afternoon. The free outdoor art festival is in collaboration with the Downtown Alameda Business Association and takes place Sunday, July 1, 10:00am-7:00pm in front of Studio 23 Gallery at 2309 Encinal Ave.

As part of the festivities, Studio 23 is hosting an all ages coloring contest. Pick from 6 awesome images to color and bring it with you to the art fair.

Coloring Contest Rules:
* One entry per person. Ages 1-5, Ages 6-10, Ages 11-16, Ages 16+ (4 winners total).
* Hang your entry on the official Studio 23 Coloring Contest Wall no later than 2:00pm.
* Winners must be present to receive their prize.

About the graphic: The artwork was created by Wesley E. Warren, co-owner of Studio 23. The real life robot was created with recycled metal and mechanical parts sourced from local scrap yards. “Lord Zondar” now sits perched over coffee drinkers at The Local coffee shop (1333 Park Street).
