Welcome, Kathy Weber

The Downtown Alameda Business Association board of directors is pleased to announce that Kathryn Weber will be its next Executive Director. 

Kathy has over ten years of experience running downtown associations, first as Director of the Downtown Marquette Business Association (Michigan), and then as Events Manager with Benicia Main Street. Most recently she served for over ten years as Corporate Partnership & Events Manager with the Alameda County Community Food Bank. 

“Kathy comes to us with an extraordinary background that will contribute to the continued growth of our district. She has a keen understanding of business associations and has the know-how to help us create and execute our long-term strategic plan and vision,” comments Otto Wright, President of the Downtown Association. 

Kathy Weber will officially join the Downtown Association on March 9. 

Upon accepting the job Kathy said, “I am so excited for this new adventure! I woke up this morning filled with enthusiasm and am eager to begin!”
