Sip, Savor, Discover: Whiskey Stroll Returns!

Whiskey Stroll SOLD OUT logo

It’s back! Sip and stroll your way through our historic downtown district tasting premium small-batch whiskeys paired with yummy bites at the 4th annual Downtown Alameda Whiskey Stroll. Enjoy an evening filled with food, drink, and entertainment while learning about the unique styles of Northern California distillers and local chefs. The popular event returns on Friday, March 4, 6:00-9:00pm.

The Alameda Strolls are a great way to discover new places and support local businesses. Ticket holders will visit twelve unique downtown shops and spaces to taste small-batch whiskeys from a fantastic selection of Northern California distilleries. And while at each stop, guests will enjoy a savory or sweet bite perfectly paired with each whiskey.

This year’s Whiskey Stroll features a number of new businesses. First-time distillers include Ammunition Wine + Whiskey, Bardstown Bourbon Company, DuNord Social Spirits, and Young & Yonder Spirits. To keep things interesting, CRAFT Beer & Wine will once again be hosting a “Mystery Pour.” And as a bonus stop, Mommy’s Trading Post is offering samples of ‘Monday’ — a zero alcohol whiskey created for those who like to enjoy a cocktail without the alcohol.

Additionally, new retailer Magpie & Thorn will be host to a local chocolatier who is adding whiskey from the paired distiller to their tasty creations. And amazing street tacos from the newly opened Casa Revolución Taqueria will be served in LF Cochrane and Associates “secret” courtyard.

Ticket prices include a collectible tasting glass, whiskey tastings at more than twelve unique downtown businesses, a delicious bite at each location prepared by a downtown eatery, a commemorative guide, as well as goodies and prizes from downtown businesses.

To get the night rolling, there will be live music on Alameda Ave for downtown visitors to enjoy. The musical stylings of JimBo Trout feature a good-time gumbo of bluegrass, rock+roll, honky-tonk, and old time blues. Plus, the acoustic band Root will performing classics and everyone’s favorites on Dragon Rouge’s patio, located near the Park Street Bridge.

Tickets are on sale now! Ticket prices are $55 until February 27 and increase to $65 after that date, if still available. But take note, the Downtown Alameda Whiskey Strolls have sold out every year. All participants must be 21 and over.
