Whiskey Stroll SOLD OUT logo

It’s back! Sip and stroll your way through our historic downtown district tasting premium small-batch whiskeys paired with yummy bites at the 4th annual Downtown Alameda Whiskey Stroll. Enjoy an evening filled with food, drink, and entertainment while learning about the unique styles of Northern California distillers and local chefs. The popular event returns on Friday, March 4, 6:00-9:00pm.

The Alameda Strolls are a great way to discover new places and support local businesses. Ticket holders will visit twelve unique downtown shops and spaces to taste small-batch whiskeys from a fantastic selection of Northern California distilleries. And while at each stop, guests will enjoy a savory or sweet bite perfectly paired with each whiskey.

This year’s Whiskey Stroll features a number of new businesses. First-time distillers include Ammunition Wine + Whiskey, Bardstown Bourbon Company, DuNord Social Spirits, and Young & Yonder Spirits. To keep things interesting, CRAFT Beer & Wine will once again be hosting a “Mystery Pour.” And as a bonus stop, Mommy’s Trading Post is offering samples of ‘Monday’ — a zero alcohol whiskey created for those who like to enjoy a cocktail without the alcohol.

Additionally, new retailer Magpie & Thorn will be host to a local chocolatier who is adding whiskey from the paired distiller to their tasty creations. And amazing street tacos from the newly opened Casa Revolución Taqueria will be served in LF Cochrane and Associates “secret” courtyard.

2021 in Pictures: Celebrating Local Businesses

By Downtown Alameda Business Association | January 19, 2022
Lauren's Closet shop owners

Thank you for continuing to support local businesses. It’s been incredible to witness the strength and creativity of our community.

As we move forward into the new year, we want to take a moment to celebrate and reflect on the accomplishments of the past year… a year of rebounding, adapting, and persevering. We saw businesses reopening, new businesses welcoming customers for the first time, and established businesses celebrating milestone anniversaries. (And downtown restaurants served lots of delicious food too!)

We hope 2022 continues to be filled with brighter days for all.

To celebrate the achievements of our local businesses, here’s a look back at your favorite Instagram posts in 2021:
